Terms of service

Last updated — 2 July 2026

These terms are a contract between you and AIVEYO (“we”, “us”), the operator of GEO Tool. By running an audit, creating an account or subscribing to a paid plan you agree to them. If you are using GEO Tool for a company, you confirm you can bind that company.

1. What GEO Tool is

GEO Tool measures how visible websites are to AI search engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude) and recommends improvements. It reads publicly available pages, queries AI engines, and reports what it finds. Scores describe signals we can measure at a point in time. They are professional guidance, not a promise: we do not control the AI engines and cannot guarantee that any engine will mention, cite or recommend any site.

2. Free audits

Anyone may run a free audit of a publicly accessible URL without an account. Free-audit results are public by default and live at a shareable link; anonymised results feed our aggregate benchmarks. Only audit URLs you are comfortable being scored publicly. We rate-limit and may block abusive usage.

3. Accounts

You must give accurate information and keep your sign-in method secure — you are responsible for activity under your account. One person or legal entity per account; workspaces may have multiple members on eligible plans. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

4. Plans, credits and billing

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, with notice where practicable.

6. Your content and our IP

You keep all rights to your sites and content. You grant us the licence needed to fetch, analyse, store and display audited content inside the service and in your reports. The service itself — software, design, scores, methodology and branding — is ours; these terms give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it while your account is in good standing. Shareable report links and badges may be shown publicly by design.

7. Third-party engines

Visibility checks depend on third-party AI providers. Their answers change over time, and availability of a given engine may change with your plan or with provider outages. Where an engine is unavailable we say so in the product rather than fabricate a result.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows: we disclaim implied warranties; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data; and our total liability for claims arising out of the service in any 12-month period is capped at the amount you paid us in that period (or £50 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence — or your non-waivable consumer rights in your country of residence.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may terminate for material breach with notice, or immediately for serious abuse. On termination your access ends; we delete or anonymise workspace data as described in the privacy policy.

10. General

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes belong to the courts of England and Wales — except that if you are a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory laws, and the courts, of the country you live in. If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stands. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email or in-product at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that is acceptance.
